As part of our commitment to the iW50 UK Alumni Impact Mentoring programme we held an exclusive mentees’ evening to exchange experiences and network. 

Fiona Hathorn , CEO and founder of Women on Boards (WoB), gave a talk on  “Building Presence” encompassing research-based career tips to help our mentees realise their potential within current roles and build the foundation for future success. It addressed impact and influence, including meeting management, voice control and mastering the pre-meeting. It also looked at the importance of understanding organisational culture and your boss’s priorities along with the latest views on networking.

It was an evening of debate and discussion with lots of practical as well as strategic takeaways.
